SHINE A LIGHT ON YOUR APPLICATION

CHOOSE A LIGHT FOR VETERINARY CLINIC

For general examinations or dental treatments, a light output of between 30,000 and 60,000 lux at a distance of 50 cm from the animal patient is optimal. Surgical procedures, on the other hand, require significantly more light: for optimum depth illumination, between 60,000 – 100,000 lux at a distance of one meter from the animal’s body is recommended.

FULL SPECTRUM LED. SEE LIKE DAYLIGHT.

Natural daylight is the best light we humans know. We need it for our well-being and complex biological processes. Our vision is also deeply influenced by it. The full spectrum LED technology with a color rendering value of Ra>95 produces a light with a homogeneous light spectrum that is very close to daylight. Check out Taneo for brilliant vision and results.

COLOR TEMPERATURE

Color temperature is the warmth or the coolness of the light source. It is measured in Kelvin(K). Neutral white light sources with a minimum of 4300 Kelvin are suitable for examinations and treatments. For dermatological examinations, magnifier lamps with daylight and optional Wood's light are suitable. However, depending on the area of application, a warm white light may be recommended.

WOOD'S LIGHT

The powerful Wood‘s light feature is ideal for veterinary, forensic medicine, or any dermatological clinics. A variety of examination types can be performed with just one light. Other Wood's light luminaires require the room to be completely darkened. Thanks to powerful BLB LEDs, the Opticlux does not require this. With the flip of a switch, the practitioner is able to use the right tool for whatever task needs to be done.

ILLUMINANCE & SPECIAL OPTICS

Illuminance is the intensity of the light. It is measured in lux. Our TRIANGO 100 can boast optimum light conditions at 100,000 Lux at 1 m, and a precise color rendering of Ra>95. We also have varieties of products with a light output of 30,000, 50,000, 60,000 lux, and more. Our Swiss self-developed optics ensure a homogeneously illuminated working area.

COLOR RENDERING INDEX (CRI)

Color Rendering Index (CRI) measures the light’s ability to present the color naturally. It is a certified rating and tested in an independent lab. CRI is particularly important in the medical field. A higher CRI rating means more true to the colors that they are supposed to be. The minimum rating for the medical field is CRI 85. Most Waldmann medical lightings carry CRI ratings above 93/95.
