Enabling luminaires and light fixtures to communicate with each other, the innovative, wireless PULSE TALK module with swarm control from Waldmann is literally at the pulse of intelligent and sensitive lighting for today’s office environments.

In modern offices with daylight-controlled networked lighting, “islands of light” can arise and with the exception of the occupied desks, the rest of the office remains unpleasantly unlit. With our PULSE TALK wireless module, luminaires talk to each other as a group using swarm control to create a much more comfortable lighting scenario and working environment.

TALK MODULE provides a comfortable lighting scenario. The state-of-the-art wireless module enables luminaires to communicate with each other, to react to presence detection information and to adjust the lighting accordingly.


Light fixture communication

TALK MODULE consists of only one compact component – simple to install, program, and operate. Because it is wireless, the communication between luminaires does not require any technical building installation. Waldmann luminaires can be delivered with PULSE TALK, but can also be retrofitted with it at any time.


 

TALK MODULE requires only one uncomplicated basic setting – then the automatic teach-in process of the luminaires begins. Each module can be assigned to one of 100 areas in a building and one of two Possible groups. All settings can be changed or expanded at any time.


Light fixture communication


TALK MODULE creates comfort while saving energy. As soon as one luminaire registers the presence of a person, it transmits the information to the luminaire group. The group switches on additionally - only dimmed to basic brightness for energy savings.
